Sybase, an SAP company, is an enterprise software and services company offering software to manage, analyze, and mobilize information, using relational databases, analytics and data warehousing solutions and mobile applications development platforms.

From ’09-‘10, Heidrun Kirsch was Acting Marketing Director for Sybase, responsible for the integration of paybox’s Marketing concertos into Sybase mobile messaging and mobile commerce offering.

In 2008, paybox was the trendsetting company for mobile payment enterprise solutions. On January 21, 2009, Sybase acquired paybox and in May 2010, SAP announced that it would be acquiring Sybase for $5.8 billion.

From ’05-‘08, Heidrun Kirsch was acting Marketing Director for paybox solutions and responsible for Marketing strategy and execution worldwide. Leading the Repositioning and Rebranding efforts from B2C to B2B business, all activities were integrated to maximize outcome with limited resources.

The strategic planning and worldwide marketing activities facilitated the advancement of the mobile commerce provider paybox to market leader. Integrated marketing activities helped create worldwide visibility, while consistent communication and customized programs ensured a client relationship characterized by mutual trust.

MobiKash is an independent mobile commerce and payment ecosystem that allows everybody in Kenya to manage and perform a wide range of financial transactions from their mobile phone

In 2007, Marketing Consultancy conducted Go-to-market projects for financial service provider MoneyBoxAfrica in Nigeria and MobiKash in Kenya. The planning and implementation included the positioning, the communication, promotional material for merchants and end customer, and the design of a website.

mpass is the mobile payment service of Telefónica Germany, Telekom and Vodafone. The service enables secure mobile and soon contactless payment for mobile phone users of all Germany’s networks.

In 2007, working side-by-side with mobile operators Vodafone and o2, Heidrun supported the pre-launch activities of the mobile payment product mpass. Strategy workshops facilitated common understanding and team alignment. The developed communication concept laid the foundation for further branding and communication activities.
